How to update KYC information?

1. Supporting countries

For the time being, the KYC information update function is only accessible for certain countries such as: Japan, Korea,Vietnam. We will gradually support more countries for this feature. Please stay tuned.

2.Applied use scenarios

  1. Wrong KYC informaiton

If you find out that the information of yours is not matching up with the KYC documents you submitted, such as name or date of birth, you can use this feature to update the corresponding information.
  1. Deposit/withdrawal verification failure

image (38).png

According to regulatory requirements, when depositing funds from other exchanges to HashKey Global, or withdrawing from HashKey Global to other exchanges, it is necessary to verify that the user information (name, date of birth) matches between the two exchanges. Due to language differences across countries, names may have both local and English versions (such as in Japan and Korea). A common cause of deposit or withdrawal verification failure is that the name you have on HashKey Global is in a different language than the one on the other exchange. You can use this feature to resolve the issue. Once updated, we will compare the multiple versions of your name with the other exchange, and if there is a match in any language, deposits and withdrawals will go through.

Scenario
If your name in another exchange is in English
If your name in another exchange is in your native language
Operation
You can select and update your English name on HashKey Global KYC page
You can select and update your native language name on Hashkey Global KYC page
Document required
Passport
